Elders

 Keith Buehler

My wife Mary and I have been married for 21 years. We met when I was in the Navy, stationed in her home town of San Diego. We have 5 children: Dave (32) living in Florida, Josh (30) here in OKC, Matt (20) a junior at OU, Stephanie (15) at PC North, and Chase (13) at Hefner. I have been working at Tinker Air Force Base for the past 19 years as an environmental engineer, and Mary has been a real estate agent for the past 2 years. In my spare time, I like watching the kids’ sports, and enjoy running. At CHCC, I am blessed to be able to participate in the lawn mowing, operating the sound board, and working with the children at J-Zone on Wednesday nights.

Tina and I have been married for over 28 years and have attended CHCC for over 29 years. We have a great son, Tyler, who is in his fourth year of college, studying construction.
I work for Cox Communications while Tina works for Enviroclean. We enjoy going to movies and spending time with friends. Tina likes to watch about any type of sport while I enjoy the peace of reading a good book (ok, maybe that is the other way around!). We have a great love for CHCC and have served in various ministries and hope to continue to worship and serve for many years to come.

Pray for us as we pray for you.

Lee Ann and I met while taking ballroom dance lessons and dancing remains our hobby. We have a son, a daughter and two granddaughters. At my "day job" I am a soils engineer with a national firm and Lee Ann is an accountant for the Indian Nations Presbytery. We joined CHCC in 1995 and I have served as an elder since 2002. During our early years at CHCC, we were actively involved in a local apartment ministry which stirred our interest in mission work. This led to our involvement on the Missions Ministry Team, where we have served since 2002. When the apartment ministry closed down, we continued our involvement with the children we had come to love by becoming the Sunday school teachers for the boys and girls in grades 3 through 5, where we continue to serve. Our other passion is the prayer ministry. We believe that an active prayer ministry is vital for God to energize and lead His church.

I enjoy all types of sports and outdoor activities but most enjoy time spent with my family.

Cinthia & I have been married for 9 years. I have 3 children, Melissa 32, Stephanie 29, Jon 15 and Kayla 23. We are also blessed with 2 Grandsons, Kaden, Nicholas and Lucas. My family moved to Oklahoma City from Kansas in 1996 & joined CHCC shortly after arriving in the city. I am Operations Manager for a Wholesale Supplier were I have worked for 25 years.

God has blessed us richly & we hope to be a blessing to others in our service to CHCC.

 Ken Murphy

My wife Linda and I have been members at CHCC since 1990. I have had the privilege of serving as an elder since 2003. We have 6 children, Brian and Tiffany Lindley, Melissa and Clark Roberts, Brian and Trista Murphy, and Kevin, Jordan and Kelsey Murphy. We also have 1 beautiful and incredibly intelligent granddaughter, Lily Kate Lindley. Linda and I own an environmental company where we are honored to employ some of the best people in the world, many of them members at CHCC. For fun, I like to watch OU football with Linda, Kelsey and Melissa, watch Jordan play soccer at MCC and play golf with all the boys.

My greatest joy is that all of my children and their spouses have close personal relationships with Jesus Christ.

 Sam Pappas

Tracy and I have been married for 29 years. We have 2 children, Bryce age 23, and Shalyn age 20. We have been at CHCC for 26 years and I have been an elder for 8 years. I also served as the part time music minister from 1989 to 1998. I am a partner at an Engineering firm where we design roads, bridges, airports, and military facilities. I enjoy fishing, golf, and playing and listening to music and I currently serve on the Praise Team as a pianist. One thing that really burdens my heart is the number of Christians facing severe persecution in hostile countries and I ask you to pray for our brothers and sisters there.

I think our church body here is amazing and I love serving and worshiping with all of you.
